RD CORPORATION was incorporated only in 1999 and is now the holding and management company of the RD Group of Companies, a family-controlled conglomerate founded and managed by RODRIGO E. RIVERA, SR., its President & Chief Executive Officer. He is ably assisted by his wife, DOLORES C. RIVERA, who is Executive Vice President & Treasurer.

From a humble pawnshop in 1976 in General Santos City, Phil., the GROUP now consist of 40 subsidiaries and major divisions engaged in various ventures in Fishing, Agri-business, Manufacturing, Processing, Banking, Pawning, Insurance, Real Estate Develop ment, Hotels and Retailing of Hardware and Fishing Supplies,mainly operating in the Philippines and now also in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.

Truly remarkable and unique in the field of business, RD is also strong in its commitment to minister to the spiritual needs of its people and the community. RD Group now employs around 11,000 associates.
